Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Michelle.

I started making candles just over three years ago, originally as a hobby. What began as curiosity quickly became something more meaningful as I learned what goes into mass-produced candles — and what often gets left out.

I began making candles using plant-based, responsibly sourced soy wax, carefully selected fragrance oils, and cotton wicks — choosing ingredients that felt better for our homes and more considered for the world around us.

Terra & Light grew from a simple idea: creating candles that feel good to use, easy to gift, and intentional without being overthought.

This is me (and my fur baby Luna 🐾), stepping out from behind the scenes.
